2016 Toyota Prius Tire Sizes

The 2016 Toyota Prius uses either 195/65R15 or 215/45R17 tires, depending on the vehicle’s wheel and trim configuration. Check the size printed on the tires currently fitted to your Prius, and compare it with the vehicle’s door-jamb tire placard before choosing replacements.

The tire-size notation identifies the tire’s width, aspect ratio, and wheel diameter. The two sizes listed here are different configurations, not alternatives to select without checking your vehicle. The correct size can vary by trim or installed wheel setup, so do not assume that every 2016 Prius uses the same tires.

For the recommended tire size and pressure for your specific vehicle, confirm the information on the door jamb or in the owner’s manual. Use those vehicle-specific references if the fitted tires or wheel configuration do not match the listed sizes.
