Occurring several times since purchase in october 2009, i experienced a slight burst of acceleration when hitting a pothole or sizeable bump in the road. We have a 2010 prius. My wife hit a pot hole when she was making a right turn. When she stomped on the brake the car didn't stop and it drove into the curb smashing the frp ground effects molding below the passenger door and behind the right front tire.
